Her Reflection

I entered the school grounds of my school on June for the very first time as a senior student. It feels so great to finally be close to reaching a milestone. On March, probably I'll be going to finish high school but not with flying colors. Oh well.

I got to learn new things lately. Physics sucks but not totally. My skills though not sharpened thoroughly seemed to gain quite something. Free Fall rules. ^^, I also have gained interest in making investigatory projects. Chemistry gave me so much learning compared to last year.

Everything is like always a step ahead of me. It makes me go crazy. It would be good if teachers are just giving lectures but the sad reality is that, they're forcing you to give statements to something you don't mean not to understand. Also, in a certain subject, expect to have a quiz EVERYDAY. Mind-boggling indeed.

When everyone seemed to have turned their backs on me, I try not to think of it. I review at home hoping I can answer the teachers' queries one time.

Moving on, I will continue to face struggles life has given me. What can I do? These are God's plans. I can never resist such. I just need to stand still and follow the straight path.

Sa Pangangalaga ng Wika at Kalikasan, Wagas na Pagmamahal ay Talagang Kailangan

Most of the time, Filipinos tend to forget to give importance to their native language. Yes, they might be using the Filipino language in their daily conversations but as if they don't give worth to it. One of the proof of this is the patronization of people today to international brands -- books, songs, international languages itself... Name them all. Why would man still dare to find for a different flavor if they already have their own to satisfy their taste buds? There are novels sold around the corner in a very affordable price and also the Original Pilipino Music which can be heard anywhere across the country. But then, why are people still craving for pizza over pancit malabon?

Nature though is a different thing with language should also be taken care of. The native language shouldn't be put to trash just because it is the language if your own. If we take a look at the other countries, they put so much of their effort in taking care of their surroundings. They build structures with gardens and trees inside the very establishment. In another country, the people living in the place seem to be a clean freak since you'll not see any unwanted dirt lying in the surface of their place. Won't it be a beauty if we treat our own land like the way they're doing to theirs?

The only key to treating our language and nature right is to give them pure love. Love makes the world go round, doesn't it?
